I've just realised I haven't posted a blog for ages. The reason is clear: I've just been able to start selling at craft markets again. People have been so keen to buy things that I'm preparing new stuff like a maniac.
It's slightly nervewracking, but I'm masked, socially distanced and sanitised, and the people coming to the stall are being equally careful, on the whole. The organisers of the two markets - the Treacle Market in Macclesfield and the Sunday Supplement in Leek - have been very responsible and worked hard to make sure all is as safe as possible. (Though there were some mask-hating lunatics shouting the odds last time at Treacle, apparently.)
Thought I'd have a then-and-now post, the first from the late 1980s and the second at Treacle. Just a 30-year break from one to the other.
