These are from a set of copper engravings from Curtis's Botanical Magazine, with lovely original hand colouring on plates, drawn by Sydenham Evans. They were printed in 1805.
A description of each plant is loosely attached to the back of the print.
Print Size: (approx) 4.5" x 8" (11.5cm x 20.5cm). Mounted size: 10" x 12" (approx 25cm x 30.5cm), in cream.
They are all in pretty good condition but, at over 200 years old, they naturally have a little fading and discolouration in places (but no foxing or dampstaining). The hand colouring, however, remains vibrant and bright.
