J T Smith was an engraver and this work was recorded by him during works that were being done to the House of Parliament in 1800. He sketched frantically for some weeks to record the paintings that had been found there, before they were destroyed by the builders.
Those marked with *VM are not currently physically mounted. We have suggested a suitable colour, but we will mount in a colour to suit you (within reason!). Please use our order/enquiry form to request this. We normally mount to show the plate marks, but can mount close to the picture itself if requested.
The photos are not proportionately sized, so please check the measurements given.
Mount colour is as accurate as possible, but of course may show up differently on different computers.
Picture size is approximate, though overall mount size is pretty accurate.
Any noticeable marks or creases are noted in the description.
